As part of the Taylor Smith Group’s commitment to developing its employees, team members from Profilage Océan Indien Ltée joined colleagues from across the Group for the REIgnite Leadership Programme.

Bringing together 83 participants from the Group’s different clusters, the programme provided a six-session learning journey focused on personal growth, collaboration and leadership development.

Developing the Leaders of Tomorrow

Held at the Scott Training Centre, the REIgnite Programme was facilitated by Eddy Jolicoeur and Saira Easton from Sigma.

The sessions were designed to equip current and emerging leaders with the mindset, practical skills and tools required to grow within their roles and contribute meaningfully to the Group’s long-term ambitions.

Through interactive discussions, shared experiences and practical development tools, participants strengthened their ability to:

- Lead with intention and remain guided by core values

- Build engaged and high-performing teams

- Communicate and collaborate more effectively

- Approach challenges with confidence and resilience

- Take greater accountability within their roles

- Define their professional development journey

- Support and develop the people around them

The programme also introduced participants to practical tools, including the 9-Point Talent Compass, to help them better understand individual potential, development needs and future career direction.

Learning Through Open Exchange

One of the most valued aspects of the REIgnite experience was the opportunity for open exchange and shared reflection.

Participants were encouraged to discuss their experiences, reflect on challenges, celebrate achievements and learn from one another. Everyone was given an equal opportunity to speak, creating an inclusive environment where colleagues could connect and build stronger relationships.

During the award-giving ceremony, our team also took part in an open sharing session. Participants particularly appreciated the positive atmosphere and the opportunity to hear different perspectives.

One message that left a lasting impression was the importance of maintaining strong foundations. Effective leadership requires people to remain grounded in the principles, knowledge and values that guide their actions—even as their roles and responsibilities evolve.

The experience reinforced the importance of creating space for meaningful conversations within the workplace. These moments of exchange can strengthen trust, encourage collaboration and help individuals recognise the contribution they make to their teams and the wider organisation.
